This interview coaching session will discuss a Meta Product question: Design a Google Maps feature.

These semi-open-ended questions are tricky. Many PM candidates jump straight into a framework without first exploring the problem space. But that often leads to answers that feel contrived or overly frameworky—as if they’re forcing a structure instead of truly thinking through the problem.

The candidates who stand out are able to be “present” and explore the space first to show their unique way of thinking and product instincts in identifying the most important problem to solve.
